I'm not dealing with idiots who call and hang up all the time. And the easiest way to not get hung up on is to not answer the phone. So I took this show solo. All Scott Leffler. All the time. It was fun. We talked about flag burning and Superman's sexual orientation. Oh, and Abe Lincoln's, too.

For some reason Wednesday, some people decided to be smart-asses and call the show repeatedly and hang up. Thanks to technology, Scott caught one of 'em. Overall, the show was irrititating and unlistenable because of the juvenility of some morons (and not Scott, this time - different morons).

It's always fun when Bob's on cause we share a feeling of contempt for government ... or at least the way government is run. Tom Christy called in at the end of the show. He's a funny guy.

Monday we checked in with the folks from the Fair Tax group to see what's going on with it. Among other things, we found out that just a single NY Congressperson has taken a stance on the Fair Tax ... and that was to oppose it. Those congresspeople are slippery, aren't they?

Monday I discussed several topics, including Congressman Reynolds' fakeness, the attack ad against Harry Apolito and the financial woes of the Brewhaus.

The guys from Trick Question had a great time playing in studio. And they sounded good, too. Hard to believe they're all 16-year-olds. Good job, guys.

Mayor Tucker was in. Fun as usual. Although, I think I irritated him by calling the Common Council stupid.

Eric is running for congress in the 20th district of New York. He's a Libertarian. We talked about his goals and plans. It was a great interview. Especially if you love freedom.

John Hall and Melissa Dunlap chose "summertime memories" and "state signs" as the topics du jour. We got some interesting phone calls. Enjoy.

I think it's unfair that so much of local government funding comes from property taxes. I think there's got to be a way to even things out and make them more equitable. In this show, we discussed a few ways to share the tax burden more fairly.

The Lefflers jumped in their car this weekend and fled down the coast to beautiful Virginia. It was my topic du jour when I returned.

Politicians priorities are so out of whack. Locally, it seems that skateboarding the the biggest problem in the world. While congress seems to think that people not speaking English will be our downfall. Thank God theres no real crime or poverty or anything like that.

The State of New York, in its infinite wisdom, is considering giving drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. Huh? Doesn't make sense to me either.

Looks like the GOP is in trouble, so they've to bring out the old standards - flag burning and gay marriage. Yup, we're at war right now, but the most important thing we can do is legislate against flag burning and gay marriage. What a crock.
