Mayor Mike was in studio on Friday talking about Lockport issues. Many called to wish him a happy retirement, as he had just left his long-time job at Delphi. Lots of calls. Good show.

Thursday's guest on the Interview was Assembly Candidate Joe DeMare. He's running a write-in campaign for the seat recently vacated by Sanda Lee Wirth. We talked about the Green Party's principles and how hard it is to run as a write-in candidate.

We spoke with Shane and Daniel Buczek about their ordeal at HSBC arena involving the Liberty Dollar. Plus local distributor Karl Reile checked in. And we took a bunch of calls. Overall, a good informative show, IMHO.

PC Tony was in studio on Wednesday talking about - among other things - whether to legalize marijuana. He says no.  I disagree. Several new callers. Nice to hear.

NYS Assembly candidate Mike Cole was in studio Tuesday taking phone calls from listeners on his candidacy.

Mary is half of the band "Under New Management." Unfortunately, her partner in crime ... er music, Megan Erbacher, was unable to attend. So Mary did a couple solo tunes and we played a couple of their songs off a demo CD. Enjoy. I did.

County Manager Greg Lewis is looking at another job. It pays a lot more than Niagara County pays. He says he wants to stay here ... but adds that we should sweeten the pot. What do you think Greg Lewis is worth? Plus we talked about Union Station. A man wants to buy the old train depot and refurbish it. Which I think is great. I just don't want him to do it with government money. Do you think it's worth it?

Thursday's show was on the topic of marijuana and whether it should be legalized. I think it should. Some listeners did, too. Others, of course, did not. What do you think?

The Niagara County Historical Society had a topic about a man wandering from Niagara County to Alaska ... but it was not well recieved. We played an alphabet game to end the show.

Tuesday's show was fun. Disorganized, but fun. Actually, maybe that's WHY it was fun. We talked about my Dyngus Day, taxes, Jeff Bono being sold down the river by his Democrat friends in the Assembly, and more. Enjoy.

Monday's show was mainly about taxes and the taxes (alot) and what we get out of it (not alot). We also discussed the upcoming Dyngus Day celebrations at area watering holes.

Friday I had my friend Joe Speer cohost the show. It was a lot of fun. He's crazy. Hope you enjoyed it.

Kathy discussed her book that she wrote for her daughter called, "It's Springtime in My Backyard." It's a very good book for kindergarten aged children or thereabout.

Gene talked about his book, "Duck - The Ultimate Dick Cheney Survival Bible." It was quite funny.

Peter Soemann was our guest on Thursday to discuss the ongoings at the Newfane School District.

Wednesday's show was about the situation with the Buffalo Bills. Now, I'm a Bills fan, too. But I don't believe that professional sports franchises should get public money. Period. Listen for some good discussion on the matter.

Tuesday's show started out very slow, but picked up towards the end. If you've never heard the show before, don't judge it by this one. :)

Monday's Interview was with a gentleman Victor Regino, a legal immigrant from the Dominican Republic.

Monday's show was all about stupid laws. Good participation. The most important thing to remember from the show is "if you're having five women in your car at once, go fast." I don't see myself running into that situation ... but if I ever do, now I know.

Lockport rockers Gil Transit tore it up Friday. This is the first band that we've had for Music Friday that's brought drums. The levels are a bit loose, but it's hella fun to listen to anyway.

Friday's show was an open format. We complained about a multitude of things.  :)

With the passing of Sandra Lee Wirth, there's a special election in the 142nd Assembly district. Jeff Bono is the Democratic candidate. He was our guest on Tuesday.

Scott was at a seminar on how to be a good employee, and while Scott was flirting with other corporate detainees, Tom Christy was hosting Dialog. I'm told he did a great job, but I can't confirm it. Who told me? Oh, that would be Tom Christy.  :)

People always ask me why I'm always so negative. They want to know why I don't just talk about good things. Soooooo Friday I did just that. And NO ONE CALLED. That's why I don't just talk about good things. People just want to bitch. It's sad, but it's the truth in talk. And I'm all about the truth. Enjoy my happy thoughts, though.
