Thu, 29 September 2005 Sheriff's candidate Brian Grear felt slighted when the Sheriff's deputies union had a "show of hands" vote to endorse a candidate for Sheriff. Scott couldn't blame him. Brian was the first caller of the show, in which we also discussed Tom Delay and the Seneca Nation of Indians new hotel. Good show. Comments[0] |

Tue, 27 September 2005 We continued Monday's theme of coming up with small hints to help make our community a better place. For example: fix a pothole on Olcott Street; fix street signs on Main Street; flashing red lights on Main; a stuck red light in NF. Overall a good show. Comments[0] |

Fri, 23 September 2005 Friday's show was all over the board. We talked about Dennis Virtuoso being the exception to the Democrat rule (that they're not bright), Keith McNall pushing his luck in saying Glenn Aronow is up to dirty tricks, and political signs. Overall, a good show. Comments[0] |
Thu, 22 September 2005 Jim Hufnagel and Joan Johnson of Niagara Heritage Partnership were in studio to discuss their contention that the Robert Moses Parkway is a security threat to the New York Power Authority. Hufnagel said the power project could be our New Orleans' levies. He also asked for the resignations of Lewiston Mayor Richard Soluri and NT Councilman Brett Sommer from the Greenway commission.Comments[0] |
Wed, 21 September 2005 Some pretty cool things going on with the show. More than I've said on previous shows. Download and listen for details. :) Comments[0] |
Wed, 21 September 2005 John Hall and Melissa Dunlap from the Niagara County Historical Society were in studio discussing the Village and Town of Lewiston. We also discussed the Lewiston/Queenston Bridge, which ran into a conversation on bridges to Canada in general ... which caused Scott to recall another school skipping experience when he and some buddies walked to Canada to skip school. Good times. Comments[0] |
Tue, 20 September 2005 Tuesday we talked about just about everything; starting with Scott complaining about CSEA and the Canal Corp combining forces to pick your pockets, then onto Monday's topic again (Casino Cash), and finally handicapped parking (how'd that happen). Plus somewhere in the middle we talked about school attendence and Scott told a story of getting caught skipping school. Overall a good show, but the audio quality of this one is kind of suspect - especially toward the end. Sorry about that. Hope you enjoy, nonetheless. Comments[0] |
Mon, 19 September 2005 We began with the presidents weekly radio address and Scott's take on it. Then we switched to a very local topic - Niagara County's lawsuit against the city of Niagara Falls for the casino cash. Scott asked a simple question. Here's the scenario: You have $100. You have to give it to either NF Mayor Vince Anello or NC Legislator Malcomb Needler to spend on your behalf. Who gets the money? Fri, 16 September 2005 Friday's show was a mismash of a bunch of things. We talked about something old (the Subway discussion we had the other day concerning lunches at Starpoint); something new (Arnold Schwarzenegger wants California to have the best school lunches in the nation); something borrowed (the news stories that I "borrowed" from other news sources); and something Bu (that's short for Bubonic Plague, which some mice in New Jersey were infected with in a lab ... and then LOST!!!). Good show. Ends on a down note with a very frumpy woman, who's upset that it was rainy. Sheesh. Can't please some people.Comments[0] |

Mon, 12 September 2005 Scott retorts the presidents weekly radio address and we discuss claims that a Keith McNall aide made campaign calls from the school board - on the taxpayers time. Both McNall and Glenn Aronow call.Direct download: Dialog_091205_-_PWRA_and_the_McNall_Call.mp3 Category: Dialog -- posted at: 8:04 AM Comments[0] |

Tue, 6 September 2005 Tuesday's show was a little bit of everything ... but mainly gas prices and whose fault it is. Plus we discussed who has the cheap gas and who's screwing us. Moral of the story: Sunoco=good. Noco=bad. Enjoy.Comments[0] |
Mon, 5 September 2005 Although it was Labor Day - and Scott was taking the day off - he still responded to the President's Weekly Radio Address. And also shared his thoughts on Kanye West's comments during Friday's relief concert. Plus, we played eight songs that were anti-war/pro-peace/anti GWB.
Here's the song list:
# 1) Jacob's Ladder - by Chumbawumba.
# 2) Teach Peace - The Tom Conner Band
# 3) Lean on Me - ABC Radio Network
# 4) Shame on You, Mr Bush - Jocke Bobers/Janne Palmen
# 5) Sunday, Bloody Sunday - The Party Party
# 6) I am a Patriot - Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam)
# 7) Wake Up - Cold Duck Complex
# 8) MKLVFKWR - Public Enemy and Moby

Fri, 2 September 2005 We discussed the government's pathetic efforts to help the hurricane torn region down south and the price gouging being done throughout the country on gasoline.Comments[0] |
Thu, 1 September 2005 You never know what Lyndon LaRouche is going to say ... as indicated in this promo, which blames Dick Cheney for 9/11 and the casualty rate from Hurrican Katrina.Comments[0] |
Thu, 1 September 2005 This is Lyndon's third trip to Dialog. And man, was it a fun show. Lyn makes me look like a conservative, the things he says about the administration. We talked about "acting president" Dick Cheney pushing for a pre-emptive nuclear attack on Iran, September 11th, and Hurricane Katrina. This is one to listen to over and over.

Wed, 31 August 2005 Scott took issue with the "strike talk" at Lockport Memorial Hospital. Scott thinks that if you want to make as much money as a person working for "company X," you go work for "company X." Seems pretty simple to me. We also discussed gasoline prices and some other fun stuff. Enjoy. Comments[0] |
